Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

1. Introduction

Fi Notify (“the App”) is an Android application that helps you automate responses to notifications using rules and optional features such as AI-assisted conditions. This policy explains what information may be processed, how it is used, and your choices.

By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Who is responsible

The data controller is the developer / publisher of Fi Notify as shown on the Google Play listing for the App. For privacy requests, use the contact method provided on that listing (for example developer email or support link).

3. Data the App may access

Fi Notify is designed to run primarily on your device. Depending on features and permissions you grant, the App may process:

  • Notification content and metadata — when you enable Android’s Notification access for Fi Notify, the system allows the App to observe notifications so your automation rules can run. This may include titles, text, package names of sending apps, and timestamps. Processing for matching and logging happens in line with rules you configure.
  • Rules, settings, and event logs — stored locally on your device (including optional export/backup flows you initiate). We do not operate Fi Notify as a mandatory cloud account service for core automation.
  • Telephony-related signals — if you use features that place or manage outbound calls or choose a SIM, the App may request permissions such as CALL_PHONE and READ_PHONE_STATE. These are used to support placing calls from automations you enable and, where applicable, to read subscription/SIM-slot information so you can pick which line to use. This data is not sold and is used only as needed for the feature you activated.

4. Optional AI features

If you choose to enable AI-assisted conditions, you may supply API keys or endpoints for a third-party model provider you select. Queries needed to evaluate conditions may be sent from your device to that provider according to their terms and your configuration. Fi Notify does not require AI to use basic rule automation; AI is optional and under your control.

5. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Evaluate your automation rules and run actions you configured;
  • Show in-app logs or history where you enable those features;
  • Maintain app stability and improve the product (typically using non-personal aggregated crash or diagnostic signals only if provided by the platform).

We do not sell your personal notification content or phone records. We do not use your notifications to build advertising profiles inside Fi Notify.

6. Sharing

Apart from transmissions you deliberately configure (such as AI API calls or Android system services needed for notifications and calls), we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Standard platform operators (Google Play, your device OEM) apply their own policies for the operating system and store.

7. Retention & security

Data generated by Fi Notify stays on your device unless you export it or sync it elsewhere through features you invoke. Removing the App or clearing app storage erases locally stored Fi Notify data subject to your device backups. Protect your device and any exported files that contain automation rules or logs.

8. Children

Fi Notify is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). Do not use the App for processing children’s data if prohibited by applicable law without proper consent.

9. Your rights & choices

You can:

  • Revoke Notification access or other permissions in Android Settings at any time (some features will stop working);
  • Disable optional AI configuration and remove API keys in the App;
  • Uninstall Fi Notify or clear app data to remove local stores.

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal data — contact us via the Play listing contact channel.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Material changes may be highlighted in release notes or the Play listing.

11. Contact

For privacy questions, contact the developer using the email or support link on the Fi Notify Google Play store page.
